We designed and delivered a fully automated, AI-powered news and event monitoring system tailored for the thermoset plastics and composites industry. Built with a privacy-first architecture, the platform runs primarily on the client’s local infrastructure, using self-hosted n8n for orchestration and local large language models via Ollama for all AI processing—eliminating dependency on paid APIs or external AI services.
The system continuously monitors industry trends, customer activity, and critical business events such as insolvencies, restructurings, mergers, and plant closures. It performs hourly Google News and web searches, filters new information, evaluates relevance using local AI models, and delivers professional PDF intelligence reports along with real-time “Red Alert” email notifications for high-risk events.
